Most renovation and build projects fail not because of bad work, but because of bad handoffs — the architect blames the builder, the builder blames the designer, and the client is stuck in the middle chasing everyone.

Kabeer Shaik
Founder & CEO
Kabeer Shaik leads Shaik & Co Construction with a rare combination of big-picture vision and ground-level operational expertise. Drawing on a varied background across fast-paced, detail-driven industries, Kabeer brings a sharp eye for logistics, planning, and process innovation to everything the company builds. Under his leadership, Shaik & Co has cultivated a culture centered on efficiency, forward-thinking problem-solving, and delivering projects with precision and care.
Hybrè Shoko
Project Manager
Hybrè Shoko brings eight years of hands-on project management experience, specialising in coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from concept through completion. Known for a sharp eye for detail and a talent for keeping fast-moving teams aligned under tight timelines, Hybrè has built a reputation for turning ambitious plans into smooth, on-schedule execution. Whether managing budgets, resources, or cross-functional teams, Hybre's approach centers on clarity, accountability, and getting things done right the first time.
Katy Mills
Designer
Katy Mills holds a degree in Interior Design and has spent the last several years working across set design, art direction and prop styling — work that is, at heart, about building a room that tells a story and making sure every object in it has earned its place.
She has designed and delivered three residential renovations end to end, each now operating as a short-term let. On all three, she set the concept, held the budget, appointed and managed the trades, and styled the finished space.
She has also contributed to hospitality fit-outs as part of larger teams, including the Gorgeous George Hotel in Cape Town and the Habitas hotel group in Saudi Arabia and Morocco, helping bring the final vision together through FF&E.

Every project starts with a plan, not a guess. We work with you to define the brief, the layout, and the look — translating what you want to live in into drawings the build team can actually execute.
2. Construction
From foundations to finishes, our site team handles the structural work: renovations, extensions, new builds, heritage-sensitive restoration, and everything in between. Real tradespeople, real sites, real accountability.
3. Interior Design
Once the shell is built, we don't disappear. We carry the same design intent through to the interior — finishes, fittings, furniture, and the details that make a space feel finished rather than just complete.
